In celebration of World Mental Health Day, Common Unity, Forward For Life, and Community Flow came together to host the Big Inclusive Get-Together — a vibrant community event focused on wellbeing, connection, and inclusion across our local area.
The free event welcomed people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a positive and supportive space where the community could come together, build new connections, and access valuable wellbeing support and opportunities.
The day was filled with activities designed to promote health, happiness, and togetherness. It included a pamper zone, live music, food stalls, health and wellbeing information, community activities, and much more. The event created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, encouraging conversations around Mental Health, while celebrating the strength and diversity of the local community.
A wide range of organisations and local businesses attended to showcase their services, products, and community support, including A Fathers Child Services CIC, Aston Villa Foundation, Birmingham Mind, Chef Chyna Street Food, Community Flow, Pat Benson Community Sports Foundation, Sal’s Crafty Cavern, Witton Lodge Community Association, and YMCA Heart of England.
The event was a great success, bringing the community together, raising awareness of mental wellbeing, and strengthening local partnerships that continue to support residents beyond the day itself.
