Held at Spring Housing’s Head Office in Hamstead, Birmingham, the Food, Mood & Wellbeing Event brought residents, organisations, and young people together for a powerful day of connection, celebration, and community wellbeing.
Delivered by Common Unity in partnership with the NHS, the event created a welcoming and uplifting space focused on promoting positive mental and physical health through good food, community support, creativity, and shared experiences.
The day celebrated the resilience, talent, and achievements of Birmingham’s young people, recognising the strength they showed throughout the challenges of recent years. Young entrepreneurs and community leaders were given the opportunity to showcase their businesses, talents, and positive contributions to the local community, including Chef Chyna, Impact4Life, Pat Benson Boxing Academy, and Ice Bank.
The event successfully brought together charities, health organisations, local businesses, and young adults to build new relationships, inspire one another, and strengthen community ties. It provided an encouraging platform for young people to feel seen, supported, and empowered while highlighting the importance of wellbeing, opportunity, and community unity.
The positive atmosphere throughout the day reflected Birmingham’s strong community spirit and demonstrated how partnership working can create meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and long-term support for the area’s residents.
